The Knappstein Philosophy is to simply produce the best of Clare Valley in handcrafted wine and beer. Located in the heritage listed Enterprise Brewery, established in 1878, Knappstein is steeped in the tradition of Clare.
Knappstein's Clare Valley range of wines reflect the distinctive quality of premium Clare Valley fruit. Knappstein crafts beautiful, single vineyard wines reflective of site and variety. The Knappstein Ackland Vineyard Watervale Riesling, Knappstein Enterprise Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Knappstein Yertabulti Vineyard Shiraz showcase quality fruit at its rawest, purist, most grass-roots level without overt, heavy-handed winemaking.
In 2006, Knappstein opened a full micro-brewery onsite, restoring its brewing heritage with the release of the Knappstein Enterprise Reserve Lager. Knappstein uses only the finest natural ingredients and follows a minimal intervention philosophy in crafting its wines and beer.
